Level: Intermediate (Level 2 - Years 3-6) *** THIS LESSON IS HOSTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE KINGS SCHOOL PREPARATORY SCHOOL FOR THE KINGS SCHOOL PREPARATORY SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY! *** *** If you do not attend TKS Prep you will be removed from this lesson and refunded after enrolling *** VEX IQ is a snap-together robotics system designed from the ground up to provide novice users the chance to find success quickly, while still being able to constantly challenge more advanced users.  This VEX IQ class is for students in older years of primary school who are eager to further their involvement in VEX where they will learn more technical skills and compete in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition. During each lesson, the students will spend some time learning theory about engineering, robotics, and physics. Students will then be able to develop their hands-on skills to construct a competitive robot in teams. Students will be given the opportunity to learn how to use a wide range of sensors, motors, and controllers. Programming sessions are also included where students can program a robot to complete automated tasks. Wondering why the total lesson price varies from term to term? Each term we might have a different number of lessons depending on how it fits into the NSW public and private school term. The price increases with more lessons each term and decreases with fewer lessons. Check our refund policy for which parts of the lessons can be refunded.
