TERM LESSONS

Sydney Robotics Academy is a unique, innovative and highly effective educational institution. All the programmes at Sydney Robotics Academy are carefully designed to cultivate an interest in life-long learning and to shape good learning habits in our students.

These lessons are run once to twice per week for students who are interested in the topics and keen to learn. Students who perform well in these courses may be selected to join competition teams to represent Australia in competitions worldwide.

VEX ROBOTICS - IQ JUNIOR

For children from years 1-3. This course introduces them to the world of robotics and programming, allowing them to quickly learn about and enjoy the fun in VEX Robotics.

VEX ROBOTICS - IQ ADVANCED

This advanced VEX IQ class is for students who are eager to further their involvement in VEX where they will learn more technical skills and also be able to develop complicated programs for their robots.

VEX ROBOTICS - V5 PRO

Our advanced VEX V5 course is for senior primary school students or high school students, allowing them to build robots which are far more sophisticated and use a higher level of programming.

BLOCKLY AND SCRATCH CODING

Junior students who are interested in programming can attend our Blockly and Scratch coding classes. These programming languages are block based and designed to introduce young students to the world of programming whilst having enough functionality to create complex and fun programs.

SENIOR CODING - PYTHON 3

Senior students who are experienced in programming can try our Python 3 coding lessons where they will learn how to solve a variety of problems using the newest and best programming language available today.

SENIOR CODING - C++

Students attending the VEX V5 Pro courses can also enrol in the C++ coding course to learn how to program the robots using C+++. Senior students will also use C++ for coding competitions worldwide.
