Service Description
Level: Junior (Level 1 - Years K-2) VEX IQ is a snap-together robotics system designed from the ground up to provide novice users the chance to find success quickly, while still being able to constantly challenge more advanced users. For children in the younger years of primary school, this course introduces them to the world of robotics and programming, allowing them to learn about and enjoy the fun in VEX Robotics quickly. During each lesson, the students will spend some time learning theory about engineering, robotics, and physics. Students will then be able to develop their hands-on skills to construct a project in teams that relate to the theory taught, to better enhance their knowledge. Some lessons during the term are special lessons where students can learn about more complex robots including a wide range of sensors, motors, and controllers, as well as being able to learn how to control and drive a robot. Programming sessions are also included where students can program a robot to complete automated tasks. Wondering why the total lesson price varies from term to term? Each term we might have a different number of lessons depending on how it fits into the NSW public and private school term. The price increases with more lessons each term and decreases with fewer lessons.
